Cutting and Teen

Introduction: My topic is about cutting and why should u do it that to yourself for cause it is not good to cut yourself at all.

Self-Destructive Behavior, when you are harming one externally, comes in many forms. Cutting yourself on your skin with a sharp object is most common, but there’s also burning yourself. Lovett, a senior who cut herself stated, “It didn’t quite satisfy like I needed, but it would take the edge off and was small enough not to be noticed.”

Teens cut for satisfaction and you get hooked on cutting yourself. Satisfaction brought on by physically hurting oneself becomes a quick fix.

Teenagers struggle to talk to their parents and often turn to self-destructive behavior instead. It appears to be more a problem now then it was years ago. Teen music sings about it, peers talk about it, and teen magazines write about it. Cutting is a new trend hitting the schools. It is affecting more and more teens each year.

Teens participating in self destructive behavior need help.
At School the counselor's role varies from school to school and district to district, so don't assume your counselor provides the same services as the counselor in a friend's school. As a community teens need a place to hang out and participate in positive activities. A lot of parents don’t know what their teens are doing because they are at work. Parents need to take time to be with their teenager and listen to what they have to say.
As an individual you should tell them there are other options than cutting and harming their body.
Conclusion
• I think who cut themselves is kind of crazy for cut themselves because that are upset. I think you should not cut on you at all because it let you know how you feel about everything and you shouldn’t hurt you at all. Like broke up with your boyfriend it like that to.
